Kids sound off on possible school closings in ‘Valentine video’ for board members

Children who attended this weekend’s Save Our Schools rally at South Park participated in a video “Valentine” for Lawrence school board members, who are meeting Monday evening to discuss options for addressing a multimillion-dollar budget shortfall that could potentially result in shuttered neighborhood schools.

The Save Our Schools 497 group created the video as an opportunity for children to let board members know how they feel about their schools.
