Lawrence school district students to learn from home on Monday

Lawrence school district students will be learning from home on Monday because of frigid temperatures, the school district announced Friday night.

The district said in an email that the possibility for “sustained extreme temperatures and wind chills” led to the decision.

Lawrence schools are currently using a hybrid learning model because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and schools often have at least a portion of their students in the building while others learn from home.
