The threat of more rain Wednesday night will force Free State High School’s graduation ceremony to move indoors.

The ceremony, which begins at 7 p.m., will be held at Allen Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Kansas, the Lawrence school district announced just after noon Wednesday. Doors will open to the public at 5 p.m., and graduates should be in their designated areas by 6:30 p.m., the district said.

The graduation ceremonies for Lawrence High and Free State High are typically held at the schools’ football stadiums. Lawrence High’s graduation Tuesday night was also held at Allen Fieldhouse because of the weather.
