Cancellations in Lawrence area due to inclement weather

• The Lawrence City Commission meeting for Tuesday has been canceled.

• City facilities, including City Hall and all Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities, will be closed on Tuesday

• City of Lawrence buses will not run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. More details here.

• The University of Kansas will close its Lawrence, Edwards and Leavenworth campuses Tuesday.

• Lawrence Public Schools will be closed Tuesday. All activities are canceled and district buildings and parking lots will be closed.

• Douglas County District Court will be closed Tuesday.

• State office buildings in Shawnee County will be closed for state employees on Tuesday.  The governor’s Declaration of Inclement Weather applies to all nonessential state employees in the executive branch agencies under the governor’s jurisdiction who work in Shawnee County.

• The Kansas Judicial Center in Topeka will be closed Tuesday.

• Lawrence Meals on Wheels will be closed on Tuesday.

• The Lawrence Arts Center will be closed Tuesday until 5 p.m. A decision will be made regarding evening classes and activities by 2 p.m. Tuesday.

• Bishop Seabury Academy will be closed Tuesday.

• The Senior Resource Center for Douglas County, including Senior Wheels, will be closed on Tuesday.

• Perry Lecompton schools will be closed Tuesday, with no evening activities.

• Eudora schools will be closed Tuesday.

• McLouth schools will be closed Tuesday. No activities will be held.

• The Tuesday school board meeting in Baldwin City has been postponed to Monday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 pm, in the BHS Library.

• The Lawrence Public Library will be closed Tuesday.
