Lawrence police are investigating the scene of a woman’s death Monday night in eastern Lawrence.

Just after 8 p.m., patrol units were dispatched to a medical emergency on 25th Terrace a few blocks east of Haskell Avenue, according to a social media post by the Lawrence Police Department. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers discovered no obvious signs of trauma, began interviewing potential witnesses and called investigators in to continue working the case.

No additional details were available Tuesday morning.
