UPDATE: Missing Lawrence man found safe

The Lawrence Police Department issued a call for help in locating Tracy Steiner, 62. According to a social media post by the department, Steiner has cognitive issues and may be confused.

ORIGINAL STORY —

The Lawrence Police Department issued a request for help in the search for a missing Lawrence man on Sunday.

A social media post on Facebook said Tracy Steiner, 62, was last seen at his home in the 3400 block of West 28th Street around midday. According to the post, Steiner left home on foot and was believed to be wearing a red shirt, navy blue and black shorts and black shoes. He is 6 feet, 1 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds, according to the post, which also says he has cognitive issues and may be confused.

The police department asked anyone who sees Steiner to call dispatch at 785-832-7509 or 911.
