Lawrence police respond to reported bank robbery at Ninth and Ohio

Police released this image after a reported bank robbery at Bank of America Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
The Lawrence Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday morning at the Bank of America on Ohio Street.
Police said on social media that initial reports suggested a man in a black beanie cap with a black mask with a design on it and dark clothing fled the bank at Ninth and Ohio streets to the south in the alley between Tennessee Street and Ohio Street.
No injuries were reported, said police, who expected to provide more information later.
