Lawrence police are trying to locate this person in connection with a July 13 burglary.

Lawrence police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of burglary.

Police on Thursday released a photo of a person suspected of committing a burglary in the downtown area on July 13 around 3:30 a.m. Police did not specify what location was burglarized. They noted that the person in the photo is wearing “unique summer clothing.” The person appears to be dressed in an oversized, long-sleeved shirt and long pants and possibly a winter hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call dispatch at (785) 832-7509. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Lawrence and Douglas County at (785) 843-TIPS. Tips made to Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
