Fire crews work to extinguish a fire on April 1, 2024, in the 100 Block of North Michigan Street.

A Lawrence mobile home was destroyed by a fire on Monday afternoon.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical crews responded around 12:50 p.m. to a trailer park in the 100 block of North Michigan Street.

By 1:15 p.m. crews had moved to a defensive position and the fire had destroyed most of the home.
