A Eudora man has been charged with inappropriately touching and exposing himself to a child under the age of 14.

The man, Justin Robert Royer, 42, is charged in Douglas County District Court with one felony count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child by fondling or touching the child and one felony count of lewd and lascivious behavior by exposing himself to the same victim, according to charging documents. The incident is alleged to have occurred on June 26.

Royer was arrested in connection with the charges in Eudora on Thursday afternoon around 4 p.m. by Douglas County sheriff’s deputies and was released shortly after his arrest on a $25,000 surety bond, according to the jail booking log. He is next scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 16.
