Olathe man charged in Douglas County with multiple counts of armed robbery and kidnapping in connection with 2019 incident

An Olathe man has been charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and kidnapping in connection with a 2019 incident.
Anei Deng Anei-Yor, 25, is charged in Douglas County District Court with seven counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of kidnapping and one count of aggravated burglary, all felonies, according to charging documents. The charges relate to an incident alleged to have occurred on Sept. 15, 2019, in the 1700 block of Sycamore Circle in Lawrence. He is alleged to have taken multiple cellphones, computers, other electronics and wallets.
Anei-Yor was arrested in connection with the charges around 1 p.m. Friday by Douglas County sheriff’s deputies and is being held on a $75,000 cash or surety bond, according to the jail booking log.
