A 16-year-old boy from rural Overbrook was injured when his vehicle left the road, hit three trees and came to rest on its roof late Friday.

According to an email from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe left the road in the 800 block of East 1250 Road just after 11 p.m. Friday before hitting the trees and rolling. The driver was extracted from the vehicle and taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
