A Lawrence man has been charged in Douglas County District Court with possession of child pornography.

The man, Joseph Alexander Dibben, 22, faces one felony count of exploitation of a child by possessing a photograph of a child in the nude, according to charging documents. The charge is in connection with an incident on April 26, 2020.

Dibben was arrested on the charge around 10:40 a.m. Thursday by sheriff’s deputies in the 800 block of 23rd Street. He is being held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
