A Missouri man has been charged with rape in connection with a 2019 incident in Douglas County.

The man, Zane J. Baugh, 25, of Kansas City, Missouri, was charged Friday with one count of raping a 21-year-old in September of 2019.

Baugh was arrested around noon Friday by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, according to the jail booking log. He was released later that day after posting a $25,000 bond.

A court date has yet to be set in the case, according to court records.

No other details were immediately available. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office declined to release Baugh’s booking photo.
