Police were using drones Wednesday evening to search the area around LMH Health and Sandra J. Shaw Park for a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing.

A man told police that he was stabbed by another man around 4 p.m. while exiting the walking trail just north of the hospital, according to a post from the Lawrence Police Department. The victim was able to get to the hospital on his own, and his injuries were not life-threatening, according to a social media post from Lawrence police.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about this incident to call dispatch at 785-832-7509.
