3 injured in Chrismas Day accident south of Eudora

Three people were taken to a regional hospital for injuries suffered during a Christmas Day single-vehicle accident in southeast Douglas County.

According to an email from Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokesman George Diepenbrock, the accident occurred about 12:20 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle traveling northbound in the 300 block of East 2100 Road entered the east ditch before coming to rest on its side. The three occupants of the vehicle were transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, Diepenbrock wrote.
