Emergency crews were battling a significant fire at a property in rural Douglas County Friday afternoon.

First responders were called to a structure fire in the 1900 block of North 1100 Road shortly after 1:30 p.m. Friday, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by the Journal-World. Upon arrival, firefighters found an outbuilding that had been engulfed in flames, according to radio traffic.

The Journal-World did not hear of any reports of injuries, but few other details were immediately available.
