Repairs temporarily close lane of southbound Kansas River bridge

One lane of the southbound bridge over the Kansas River at Lawrence will be closed Tuesday for a waterline repair project.

Work was scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and last one day, according to a news release from the City of Lawrence’s Municipal Services and Operations department. Traffic delays may be possible in the area, the city warned.
