Lawrence police investigate reported stabbing that injured man; no arrests made

A man was injured Tuesday night in a reported stabbing, according to Lawrence police.

Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Kentucky Street for a possible stabbing around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, department spokesperson Patrick Compton said via email Wednesday.

There, officers found the man, who was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Compton said.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the incident was still under investigation and no arrests had been made, Compton said.
