A 29-year-old man suffered injuries as the result of a reported stabbing Thursday morning, Lawrence police say.

Officers were dispatched around 8:20 a.m. Thursday to a residence in the 600 block of Wrigley Lane, according to the Lawrence Police Department’s blotter. The area is just north of the Interstate 70 interchange at McDonald Drive.

The man was taken to an area hospital with injuries that officers did not believe to be life-threatening, LPD spokesperson Patrick Compton said Friday. He said the incident was domestic in nature.

Compton said the investigation was still underway Friday afternoon, and no arrests had been made in connection with the incident.
