Douglas County Sheriff’s Office locates missing man, 22

A missing 22-year-old man was located safe within an hour of a social media post from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office seeking to locate him.

Original story:

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 22-year-old man last seen at 4 a.m. Sunday at the Outhouse, according to a social media post from the agency.

John Cruse is a 6-foot-3 Hispanic man with dark brown hair and a thin build. He was last seen in a gray T-shirt and jeans this morning, according to the post.

“Family and friends are concerned for his physical well-being and have been unable to contact him,” the sheriff’s office’s post said. “He is from out of town and may have become lost.”

The sheriff’s office asks anyone who has seen him or who has information to please call its nonemergency line at 785-843-0250.
