Lawrence man indicted on federal child pornography charges

A Lawrence man was indicted Wednesday on federal child pornography charges, according to a news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister.

Travis Bronson, 39, has been charged with one count each of distributing and of possessing child pornography, according to the release. The crimes are alleged to have occurred on Nov. 15, 2017, and Feb. 1, 2018, in Douglas County.

Bronson works as a video producer for the City of Topeka, according to the release. The FBI investigated the case and Assistant U.S. Attorney Kim Flannigan is prosecuting, according to the release.
