The Lawrence Police Department will conduct a DUI saturation patrol this Friday, according to a department news release.

A grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation has allowed LPD to place extra officers throughout the city. They’ll be specifically looking for signs of impaired driving and traffic violations.

“The Lawrence Police Department urges you to designate a sober driver and reminds you to buckle up, every trip, every time,” the release says.
