A man suspected of murder in Ohio was arrested on Interstate 70 in Lawrence Monday evening, according to law enforcement.

The Kansas Highway Patrol arrested Justin Lewis William Eastman, 34, of Columbus, Ohio, around 5:30 p.m. Monday at I-70 mile marker 202, or the U.S. 59 Highway interchange, Douglas County Jail booking records indicate.

Eastman’s arrest came about 30 hours after the body of a missing Ohio woman was found, according to news releases from the Delaware County, Ohio, Sheriff’s Office. Donna J. Harris, 53, had been missing since Nov. 20.

Eastman has been charged with aggravated murder in connection with Harris’ death, and additional charges will follow, according to one of the news releases. It was not immediately clear from information available Tuesday why Eastman was in Kansas.

Eastman was being held without bond in the Douglas County Jail on Tuesday afternoon.
