KU art student event to feature creative works for sale, plus live T-shirt printing, portrait drawing

Creations by University of Kansas art students will be for sale at a December event that will also feature live T-shirt printing and portrait drawings.
Off-Site Art Space, 924 Delaware St., invites the community to attend the December sale showcasing the talent of students from KU’s Department of Visual Art. The two-day event will feature a wide variety of artwork, including paintings, ceramics, prints and jewelry, with each day featuring live demonstrations.
Friday, Dec. 13, from 5 to 9 p.m., will be Preview Night, at which students will make live portrait drawings of guests. Light refreshments will also be available for guests as they browse artwork.
At the Saturday, Dec. 14, sale, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., balloon animals will be available for kids and adults alike. On both days, visitors can watch as students demonstrate live T-shirt printing; guests can bring their own shirts to print on or purchase one at the event.
All proceeds will directly support visual art students and clubs. Admission is free.
