Student reported dead at KU sorority house; no foul play suspected

A 19-year-old University of Kansas student was found dead Saturday morning at a sorority house, and Lawrence police say no foul play is suspected.
According to a statement from the Lawrence Police Department, officers and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to Alpha Chi Omega sorority, 1500 Sigma Nu Place, at 10:30 a.m. On the scene, they found the student deceased in her bed.
The statement said that police were investigating but that the death did not appear suspicious. Police did not release the identity of the student because her family had not yet been notified.
