Four F-16 aircraft are scheduled to fly over the University of Kansas at Saturday’s home football game, KU announced Thursday.

The aircraft are from the 149th Fighter Wing out of San Antonio, Texas. Two of the F-16s will be piloted by KU graduates.

KU will host Texas Tech University for the 109th annual Homecoming game. The flyover is scheduled to occur at the conclusion of the national anthem, approximately 10 minutes prior to the 3 p.m. kickoff, at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

To prepare for the game, the military planes will also pass over Lawrence and the stadium around 2:30 p.m. Friday.
