The 14th annual Kansas Craft Brewers Exposition – showcasing 38 Kansas-based breweries – will be happening on Saturday.
The annual beer festival will be held on Saturday at Abe & Jake’s Landing, 8 E Sixth St., featuring two sessions. The first session will be from noon to 3 p.m. and the second will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to try an unlimited number of beer samples, multiple food vendors and get a souvenir taster glass.
The event serves as a fundraiser for Downtown Lawrence Inc. and the Kansas Craft Brewers Guild.
The first session of the festival is currently sold out, as of Monday, but the second session still has tickets available for purchase for $50. Attendees must be aged 21 or older and show a valid ID and ticket at the door to be allowed entry.
People can see the full list of breweries participating in the festival and purchase tickets on the event’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/events/1834424647187095.
