Lawrence Habitat for Humanity will hold its annual giveaway of free weatherization kits on Saturday.

The kits will be available at the Lawrence Habitat ReStore, 2108 W. 27th St. Suite C, starting at 9:30 a.m. The kits help homeowners easily seal drafts and insulate common gaps around doors, windows and outlets to reduce energy loss, improve comfort and lower utility bills.

The organization will be handing out 150 kits on Saturday. The kits are first come, first served, limited to one kit per household.

“While the weather may feel unseasonably warm right now, it’s always a good idea to be prepared for future cold temperatures,” a social media post from Lawrence Habitat for Humanity said.
