The dogs were noncommittal about the art Saturday, but the aromas from the food trucks and the attention from the humans won their critical acclaim.
Multiple blocks of Massachusetts Street were closed to traffic for Art in the Park during the day and the Brass on Mass Block Party in the evening, giving residents and their pets lots of room to roam.
Art in the Park runs Saturday until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at South Park.
The Brass on Mass Block Party, in the 1000 block Massachusetts Street is an all-ages show with The Dead Bettys, The Band That Saved The World, and River City Brass Band. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the free show will start at 7 p.m.
