The Resource Fair will be on the second floor in the Community Room at the Bert Nash Center, 200 Maine St.

An annual resource fair connecting community members to health and wellness services will happen later this week, its host, the the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, announced.

The event is free and open to the public, and it will be held on Friday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Community Health Facility, 200 Maine Street. The fair is an opportunity for Douglas County residents to connect with a variety of resources and learn about how to access different services. It is also an option for people working in social services to network and build relationships, according to a press release from Bert Nash.

The resource fair, which was originally intended for Bert Nash staff to learn more about partner organizations, has turned into a large community event with over 30 local nonprofits. Jason Champagne, known as “Jason the Native Chef,” will also be offering complimentary food at the resource fair.
