As Theatre Lawrence winds down its current season – its last show will be “Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville” in June – it’s already looking forward to the lineup for the 2025-2026 season, which will include three musicals.
The season will begin in September with the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning rock musical “Next to Normal,” followed by “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” in December.
“The Mountaintop,” a reimagining of Martin Luther King’s final night, will take the stage at the end of January, followed by “The Cottage,” a romantic farce in the spirit of Noel Coward, in March, and the thriller “Dial M for Murder,” the inspiration for the Alfred Hitchcock film, in April.
The season’s finale will be “The Addams Family” musical in June.
