The website, which is maintained by the community’s Unified Command, Lawrence 2026, provides background on the World Cup’s role in the local community, as well as important dates, news and notices that will help community members navigate the challenges of thousands of visitors coming to the area.

“Going into 2026 and anticipating next summer’s activity, we want to be sure residents are aware of this tool for information throughout the preparation period and during the World Cup itself,” said Erinn Barcomb-Peterson of the Unified Command’s Joint Information Center. “Lawrence2026.com is designed to be a dynamic site that can reflect updates and priorities between now and summer 2026.”
