Volunteers help prepare meals for the 2024 LINK Thanksgiving dinner.

For LINK’s annual Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, volunteer drivers delivered nearly 800 meals, according to the organization’s Facebook page, and 129 people were served at First Christian Church in downtown Lawrence, as well.

LINK holds the free dinner every year on Thanksgiving, and dozens of volunteers pitch in each year to make the meal possible.
