• Come celebrate Indigenous People’s Day from 5 to 8 p.m. on the library lawn and in the auditorium as the Indigenous Community Center, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and Lawrence Public Library honor Indigenous cultures. • “Elephant & Piggie’s ‘We Are in a Play!'” opens tonight at 6 and continues weekends through Oct. 22 at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire St. An introduction to theater for kids, the show runs 60 minutes and includes audience participation.
