The Community Children’s Center will host an early childhood family resource fair next weekend that is designed to connect families with young children to valuable community resources.
The fair is set for April 1 from 10 a.m. to noon, the nonprofit announced in a news release Friday. The free fair will take place at Kennedy Early Childhood Center, 1605 Davis Road.
According to the release, people who attend the fair will have the opportunity to meet with representatives with local organizations that offer services and support to families, such as health care providers, early childhood education programs, financial assistance programs and more.
“We know that navigating resources and services for young children can be overwhelming for families,” the nonprofit’s director, Kim Polson, said in the release. “That’s why we created this event to bring everyone together in one place, making it easier for families to access the support and services they need.”
In addition to connecting families to resources, the event will also feature activities for children in attendance. For more information about the fair, visit the Community Children’s Center website.
