Douglas County, along with local and state sponsors, to host event for people of color interested in entrepreneurship
Douglas County, in collaboration with a number of local and statewide partners, is set to host an event next week for people of color interested in entrepreneurship.
The event, called “Networking for Business Resources,” is slated for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Peaslee Tech, 2920 Haskell Ave. The event is free, and guests can register here.
Local sponsors besides Douglas County include the United Way of Douglas County and the Lawrence chamber of commerce; statewide sponsors include nonprofit NetWork Kansas and the Kansas Small Business Development Center.
