D's Auto Wash, 1300 W. Sixth St., will donate all proceeds from car washes on March 26 to Ukraine relief efforts.

A Lawrence car wash is planning to donate 100% of its sales on Saturday to support Ukrainian families.

D’s Auto Wash, 1300 W. Sixth St., is holding an event from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday with music, food trucks and other activities. During that time, all proceeds from car washes and some proceeds from food sales will go to support Ukraine, which was violently invaded by Russia’s military last month.

The car wash proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Poland, which has mobile units and refugee support for Ukrainian families.

The Dobski family, who owns the car wash as well as a local McDonald’s franchise, has said it would match the amount raised from this event.
