Douglas County’s Unified Command will host its second virtual COVID-19 panel discussion surrounding the topics of testing, vaccination and equity at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The panelists are Jennifer Schrimsher, an infectious disease doctor at LMH Health; Ruaa Hassaballa, the COVID-19 testing equity project manager at Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health; Tiffany Lewis, chief operations officer at Heartland Community Health Center; Brian Bradfield, associate vice president of ancillary services at LMH Health; and Kathy Colson, a retired public health nurse who began working for the health department during the pandemic. Alex Kimball Williams, health equity planner with Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, will moderate the event. In addition to the discussion on testing, vaccinations and equity, the event will provide some information about local resources during the pandemic and the structure of Douglas County’s Unified Command.
