After a one-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vinland Fair returned to rural Douglas County this week. The first two days have featured the talent show, the farm skills competition, foot and bicycle races and more, and the fun will continue on Saturday at the fairgrounds, 1736 North 700 Road. Events scheduled for Saturday include the children’s pet parade and box turtle race, the antique tractor pull and the ice cream contest. Learn more about the fair on its website, vinlandfair.com.
