COVID-19 cases in Douglas County increase to 635; 86 remain active

July 30 COVID-19 update for Douglas County.

Douglas County has reported 635 cases of COVID-19 as of Thursday, an increase of five cases since Wednesday.

In Douglas County, 549 out of the 635 cases are inactive or beyond the infectious period, according to Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health.

One patient at Lawrence’s hospital had COVID-19 on Thursday, one fewer than Wednesday. Three Douglas County residents have died thus far from COVID-19 or with the virus as a contributing factor in their deaths.
