COVID-19 cases in Douglas County increase to 526; 144 remain active

Douglas County has reported 526 cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, an increase of 32 cases since Friday.
In Douglas County, 382 out of the 526 cases are inactive or beyond the infectious period, according to Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health.
Three patients at Lawrence’s hospital had COVID-19 on Monday, two fewer than Friday.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s online map noted that 9,897 Douglas County residents had been tested for the disease so far. The county’s testing rate per 1,000 people was 81.
