51st Annual Halloween Paint-In, 8 a.m.-noon, Massachusetts Street. Artists must pre-register (see lawrenceks.org/lprd/specialevents/); members of the public can watch art being created on downtown business windows.

Fall Craft and Bake Sale, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., River City Church, 3001 Lawrence Ave. Proceeds go to Women’s Insight Center of Lawrence.
