Douglas County officials who won elections in November will be sworn into office on Monday.

The ceremony will be at 9 a.m. at the newly renovated Douglas County Courthouse meeting room, 111 E. 11th St.

Among those taking the oath will be four county commissioners, all Democrats, including incumbent Commissioner Karen Willey and incumbent Commissioner Shannon Reid, Gene Dorsey and Erica Anderson. Dorsey and Anderson will be representing two new districts: District 4 and District 5, respectively.

Douglas County’s new district attorney, Democrat Dakota Loomis, will also be sworn in, as will incumbent Sheriff Jay Armbrister and a host of other officials in various county offices.
