Douglas County Commission cancels meeting this week

The Douglas County Commission will not meet this week.

Karrey Britt, a spokeswoman for the county, said the commissioners canceled their meeting for Wednesday because September is a five-week month. Normally, the commissioners meet each Wednesday evening, but they often cancel a meeting if there are more than four possible meetings in a month.

The County Commission is expected to meet again next week on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Information about upcoming meetings can be found on the county’s website, douglascountyks.org.
