The Douglas County Commission will convene Wednesday for a meeting with a brief agenda, with the main focus being a private discussion on personnel issues.

The only general business item on the agenda is an executive session, during which the commissioners will meet with the county counselor to discuss personnel matters for the county’s nonelected personnel. The agenda does not note whether the commissioners plan to take action after the private discussions.

Prior to the executive session, commissioners will consider making proclamations for “Farmer’s Market Week” in the county and for “Community Health Facility’s 20th Anniversary.”

The proclamations provide for “Farmer’s Market Week” to be held Aug. 4-10 and for an open house celebration of the Community Health Facility, 200 Maine St., to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 8.

The commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Courthouse, 1100 Massachusetts St.
