The Lawrence City Commission will still meet on election night next week, but with no items on its regular agenda.

As of Thursday afternoon, when the meeting agenda for Tuesday was posted, all of the items the commission was scheduled to vote on were on its consent agenda. That is a group of items normally considered routine that can be approved in a single vote.

Three of the items relate to the Kansas River Wastewater Treatment Plant: a contract for repairing a digester; another one for replacing part of the plant’s screening system; and an agreement with a contractor for removing and reusing biosolids generated by the plant.

Among the other items on the consent agenda are a bid for a storm sewer replacement project on 24th Street; an agreement between the city and Campus Communications Group that would help the city expand its fiber optic network in the future; and a request for alcohol sales to be allowed at an Arizona Trading Company event next week in the alley behind the store.

The commission will meet at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 6 E. Sixth St.
