The city’s main downtown bus stop and bus transfer point will soon temporarily relocate to allow for sidewalk repairs.

Starting Monday, the bus stop will move one block south from its current location in the 700 block of Vermont Street, which is in front of the Lawrence Public Library, to the 800 block of Vermont Street, according to an announcement from the city. The work on the sidewalk is expected to take at least one week to complete.
