City plans for traffic signal outage at Clinton Parkway and Kasold Drive; motorists should expect delays

Motorists should expect delays Wednesday in the area of Clinton Parkway and Kasold Drive, according to a news release from the City of Lawrence.
Construction crews will be taking out old traffic signals at the intersection and installing a new traffic signal pole between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the release. Flag crews will guide traffic through the intersection.
The bus stop that serves Route 9 on the southwest corner of the intersection will also be closed during the construction work, according to the release.
The work on Kasold Drive is expected to be completed early next year, according to the release. More information on construction is available on the city’s website at lawrenceks.org/construction.
