The City of Lawrence bus service will run between downtown and David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on game days during the University of Kansas football season.

Service from downtown Lawrence to the stadium will be available for all home-game Saturdays, according to a city news release. The city will also offer free parking those days in the New Hampshire Street parking garage, the Vermont Street parking garage, and the lower level and ramps of the Riverfront parking garage.

KU’s first home game, against Indiana State, is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m.

The service to and from Memorial Stadium is $1 for all passengers. The service will run two hours prior to kickoff and one hour after the game or when no additional post-game passengers are present. Signs on the buses will display “#11 Downtown/Football Service.”

The buses will pick up and drop off passengers at four stops: on the south side of Ninth Street east of Massachusetts (next to the U.S. Bank building); in front of the Riverfront parking garage; on the west side of Vermont Street, north of Eighth Street; and the stadium.
